Policies and Estimates
Please review these policies if you are considering using our services. Many of your questions may also be answered here. Please email us with any other questions or concerns you may have.

Turnaround Time
Our average turnaround time for molding and the first group of resin castings is about 4-6 weeks from the time we get the original. This can vary, depending on how many jobs we are currently working on. If the time will be much longer than 4 or so weeks, we will let you know.

Estimates of delivery dates for resin casting orders are dependent on our work schedule, the availability of raw materials, and are subject to delays if unforeseen circumstances should arise. Please give 4-6 weeks for delivery
of any resin casting order.

Molds
After we have made a mold for you, for the purpose of producing resin castings, we will retain ownership of the mold here at Mountain View Studios. If you send us a mold to do castings from, we will return the mold to you at your request. A machine set-up charge will apply for any mold sent to us for casting. The original artwork used to produce the mold here, will be returned to you once it is established that we have a good production mold for your piece.

Each master or original will be molded in the condition that it is recieved, unless otherwise requested for us to make specific changes.

Rush Orders
If you would like your first group of resin castings to be done in under 4 weeks, we will charge an appropriate rush fee for this faster service. Please inquire.

Payment for Services
Molding: must be paid-in-full before molding begins Casting: must be paid-in-full before casting begins; or for larger orders (20 or more casts), 50% due at time of order and 50% due before shipping Visa, Mastercard, and American Express accepted. Paypal, money orders and checks also accepted.

Price quotes are ONLY VALID FOR 30 DAYS from the date of the quote. Please email us to confirm that you have accepted this quote and to schedule your molding/casting date. Once the job is started your price for castings is locked for the duration of the mold (up to 50 casts, or up to 6 months from the date the first casting was made). Any subsequent molds or casting orders past 6 months, are subject to price changes as needed, due to changing labor and/or materials costs.

Shipping
We ship exclusively with UPS Ground. Please provide a street address; sorry, no PO Box addresses. You may request a faster shipping method (2nd Day Air, etc) at an extra expense.

Please Note: We charge a $5 per-box fee to cover the rising costs of packing supplies, fuel surcharges, and time and labor. This includes all boxes shipped, either back to the artist or directly to the customer

International shipping:
Any products sold by MVS (Sheri Rhodes resins, and custom painted horses) will be shipped via the Post Office, with up to a one or two week delay.

*Each box will be marked as "merchandise", with the replacement value noted. Insurance is REQUIRED.*

Resin casting customers- we can no longer ship directly to your international customers. These castings will be shipped directly to you, the artist, for re-shipping.

Return Policy
We guarantee the quality of our products and services. We use the best quality resin available, and test every new batch we receive for any chemical defects. If you notice anything about your resin that you cannot accept, we will replace your resin if:

*you contact us within 10 days after your product is delivered to you

*state the problem *RETURN the resin to us within 30 days for repair or replacement (postage paid by MVS)

**Any damage or other defects that happen AFTER the 10 day replacement period will be dealt with on an individual basis, and have NO GUARANTEE of replacement.

**Refunds are ONLY paid if we do not complete the services you paid for. Once work is started on your piece, NO REFUNDS are available.

**MVS is only responsible for the replacement of *unpainted* resins, and will not refund any costs of painting work already done to a defective casting.

Our Retaining Rights
We may keep 2 castings from each mold we make, for advertising purposes and as a second "master" if another mold ever needs to be made. Once you pay for your mold, we retain the rights to use a casting of your artwork for our
company's promotion and advertising, including print, internet, and display at trade shows.
